My friend Shane at Only Good Movies is going with me to the TCM Classic Film Festival later this month. The TCM Classic Film Festival is being held from April 22, 2010 through April 25, 2010 in Hollywood, at the Graumann’s Chinese Theater and the Egyptian Theater. I’m excited about it, and I’m looking forward to reading Shane’s write-ups of his adventures there. (I’ll be posting my write-ups here.) Shane has a slightly different schedule of movies that he’s going to see than I do. Here’s what my schedule looks like:
Thursday, April 22nd
Casablanca (10pm-12am at Mann’s Chinese 6 House 1)
Friday, April 23rd
2001 (9:15am to noon)
The Big Trail (12:30pm-2:50pm at Mann’s Chinese 6 House 3)
Jubal (3:15pm-5:30pm at Mann’s Chinese 6 House 1) — I MIGHT see In a Lonely Place instead of this one. I do love my film noir.

The Day of the Triffids (12am-1:50pm at Mann’s Chinese 6 House 1)
Saturday, April 24th

Pillow Talk (12:15pm to 2:20pm)
North by Northwest (2:45pm-5:35pm at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre)
Singin’ in the Rain (7pm-9:05pm at The Egyptian Theatre)
The Bride of Frankenstein (12am-1:30am at Mann’s Chinese 6 House 1)
Sunday, April 25th
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (10:30am-2pm at Grauman’s Chinese Theater)
The King of Comedy (3pm to 5:20pm)
Some Like It Hot (7:15pm-9:45pm at The Egyptian Theater)
If you’re also attending the 2010 TCM Classic Film Festival and want to talk about it, please post a comment or send me an email at randyray at gmail dot com. I love meeting new people, and I’m up for getting coffee and/or drinks with new friends.
I’m also going to the AFI Film Festival in Dallas later this week, and I’ll be attending the USA Film Festival after we return from the TCM Classic Film Festival.
